Personal Description:

I teach to spread knowledge and guide others as they learn. I am familiar with a broad range of chemistry topics and can assist students at a variety of levels. I understand that it can take time to build a solid understanding of the material, whether we are learning about chemical nomenclature or diving into more advanced areas.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 25 years of experience teaching chemistry at a college level. I have developed two high school chemistry courses for an online academy as well. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. I also earned a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to bring enthusiasm and clarity as my student's chemistry tutor. Rather than giving out the answers, I help my students learn the reasoning behind the task at hand. I can assess my student's skills, identify motivators, and create a solid academic plan.
