Personal Description:

I am currently completing my doctoral thesis in French literature and have spoken French for nearly a decade. As an adult language learner, I understand the nuances and frustrations of learning a second language. After completing my master's degree, I spent a year living in France. I am excited to meet you, and to help you advance your language skills!

I have 7 years teaching experience. I have taught students aged 3-80.

Tutoring Approach:

I specialize in conversational French. I adapt a specified lesson plan for each learner based on the individual's goals. I use a variety of teaching methods based on second language acquisition research. I believe that language learning should be fun in order to be useful, so I adapt each lesson to the interests of my students.
