Personal Description:

I enjoyed my time as an elementary and secondary school student and hope to share that passion with others as a math tutor. I am comfortable teaching multiple levels of mathematics, including everything from basic arithmetic at the elementary-school level to logarithms in Algebra II. I can also help students prepare for the Math sections of standardized exams such as the SAT. I believe that all students can improve once I give them a confidence boost.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching students as a peer mentor for undergraduates, tap dance instructor, and camp counselor. I also scored a 770/800 in SAT Math, so students can trust that I know what I'm talking about.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that all academic concepts should be broken into the simplest possible terms so that as many students as possible can understand them. I also stress that there is often more than one way of solving a math problem, encouraging students to get excited about learning in their own way.
