Personal Description:

I am a qualified teacher from the UK with 9 years of classroom teaching experience a**Contact Detail Removed**mentary school level. I enjoy teaching all abilities across the core subjects. In winter I’ll be ski instructing so I can schedule tutoring sessions around this, which lines up with out of school hours.

Tutoring Experience:

In my teaching job in the UK I taught all subjects to my class. I taught grade 6 for four years where I was responsible for preparing the children for statutory tests at the end of the year. This included extra tutoring for children who needed extra support.

Tutoring Approach:

I will approach each tutoring session in a friendly and professional manner. I am always constructive in my teaching methods, making sure that each child feels supported rather than under unnecessary pressure. I aim to set a good pace to each session to achieve and consolidate as much learning as possible. My teaching experience has helped me to become efficient at quickly assessing each child's skill level, and to design sessions which teach to the child's individual needs. I have been able to help children to make quick progress in tutoring sessions, particularly in Math and English.
