Personal Description:

Education professional with a Master in Education (completed in French). I have been working as a project advisor at McGill University since Jan 2022 and tutoring on the side on and off since 2017. French is my third language but I have full academic fluency.

Tutoring Experience:

I have prior experience teaching ESL (1 year) as well as tutoring elementary- to high school-level academic English and French (1 year). I also have experience in reviewing, editing, and supporting with academic writing (essays, thesis, etc.) in both English and French. The majority of my experience is working with middle-school to high-school students (grades 7 to 12), but I can also provide tutoring to younger students or adult learners based on the learning expectations.

Tutoring Approach:

Lessons are planned in advance based on the student's current in-class content (e.g… help with homework assignments, test prep, reading support, etc.). If you are looking for support in a specific area (e.g… literacy, grammar, etc.), I can create lessons uniquely based on these needs or a mix-and-match of both approaches.
