Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor for high school and college students. In addition to offering tutoring for courses in the field of biology, I am also able to help students prepare for upcoming standardized exams such as the MCAT Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in dentistry and I am currently pursuing certification while working at a university. I began working with students several years ago.

Tutoring Approach:

I make an effort to get to know my students and learn about their academic goals. With this information in mind, I create a timetable for our lessons. I begin with the core knowledge and build up to the more complicated concept and then use a variety of examples and suggest independent work to help students understand. We can review a concept as often as necessary until the student feels confident going forward, and we can move forward quickly just as easily.
