Personal Description:

I have Masters in Microbial Biotechnology. I was a gold medalist in my school. College topper in Bachelors in Biotechnology and Bachelors in Education and University second position holder in Masters. I have in depth knowledge of scientific concepts. I have also cleared the Teacher Eligibility test for Math and Science and National Eligibility test (UGC NET) in India. I am able teach biology till Gr.12 and Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology and Genetics to college students as well. I have efficient English written and verbal communication skills (IELTS score overall band 8). I am really looking forward to this opportunity to be able to guide and coach the students to enable them to understand scientific concepts deeply

Tutoring Experience:

I have home tutored almost 20 students in subjects ranging from Science, Math, English and Biology. I have helped a Gr 8 failing student to score descent marks in final during my graduation. I have taught Biology to Gr 12 students in a coaching Institute for three months and have worked in a local school as Science coordinator.
I have one year experience of teaching Microbiology to Undergraduate Agriculture students in a private university in India.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring has always been very simple, One-to-one Interaction. I feel every student has different subject interests and different levels of understanding. A good tutor should be able to understand these needs and adapt the teaching and guiding style accordingly. I always try to take some time to the student before teaching to know the student well enough to have a teacher student relationship. Furthermore, I feel I am quite comfortable in using technology in teaching to help students gain depth in the concepts.
