Personal Description:

I know how it feels to struggle because I was a struggling college student myself not that long ago. Now, I am a biology tutor who enjoys helping people figure out what learning methods work the best for them. I can help with biology concepts at all levels, from high school biology to AP Biology, college Biology, and MCAT Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior.

Tutoring Experience:

As an undergraduate, I earned a bachelor's degree in neurobiology and psychology. I scored in the 85th percentile on the MCAT. My work experience includes having written for the student newspaper at the university. I took numerous biology courses. Some of my favorite courses were microbiology and clinical neurobiology.

Tutoring Approach:

I encourage my students to work hard but be relaxed in their learning, so they walk away actually understanding valuable information instead of memorizing a bunch of facts. Of course, using personalized lesson plans helps too!
