Personal Description:

I remember having difficulty learning certain subjects and needing extra motivation in my studies. Because of this, I can study diligently with students who are working to achieve their academic goals. As a math tutor, I engage my students by challenging them to work on problems in the most logical way. I enjoy working with my students. I can specifically tutor students in algebra, trigonometry, and middle school math. I can also help students prepare for the Math section of the ACT.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. I went on to earn my master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have had two years of experience being a volunteer tutor for a student-led organization as well.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to learning math involves focusing on the way each problem is solved. I will not just give my students the answers. For math, repetition is the best way for a student to improve their problem-solving skills. I ensure my students will learn with me in a positive environment.
