Personal Description:

Hi there, I'm Greg. I am offering tutoring services for mechanical engineering (please note that I selected Physics as the topic as First Tutors didn't have an option to select engineering and this was the closest), with a focus on stress analysis, statics, mechanical component analysis and design.

I am open to aiding teaching high school students hoping to go into engineering or science fields as well.

Tutoring Experience:

I spent 5 years as full-time faculty at the Royal Military College of Canada. During that time, I taught the following subjects:

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer a problem-centric approach, trying to break things down to first principles whenever possible. When it comes to engineering especially, getting the right answer without understanding why you did is as much of a failure as getting the wrong answer.
