Personal Description:

I've always been very passionate about education. I believe that it is the role of the educator not simply to pass the information on to students, but to encourage them to be independent learners and people who are actively engaged in the educational process. The role of a teacher is as much to inspire as it is to instruct.

Tutoring Experience:

My experience as a geography tutor dates back many years. I received my Bachelor's in history, and have always been very interested in education and teaching others. I tutor geography at both the high school and college levels. I really enjoy tutoring because it provides me an opportunity to inspire others and encourage them towards excellence.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring approach is to first assess my student and find out what their present level of knowledge is on the subject that I am going to be tutoring them. That way, I can build lesson plans that are individually tailored to their unique needs and help them build a strong foundation of knowledge.
