Personal Description:

I am a fourth year university student completing a degree in honours history. I love to learn and to help others get excited about learning too! I have always excelled in school and would love to help you or your child achieve their academic goals or English-language goals.

Tutoring Experience:

Throughout highschool, I tutored students in math, English, and history. I have worked with students between the ages of 8-20 in the past with great success. I really enjoy tutoring, and always work to make my sessions a fun experience for everyone involved.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that each person has the potential to excel academically if given the right tools and support. As every person is different, I have my students complete a survey prior to our first session together to give me an idea of their preferred learning style, the areas they want to work on with me, and the qualities they like and dislike in a teach. In my tutoring sessions, I come prepared with a lesson plan based on the topics that students or their parents self-identity to me as areas they would like to improve and then work from there.
