Personal Description:

I learned long ago that grades are not a reflection of how hard a student works. Working extensively with students with special needs has taught me that every person is capable of learning. As an undergraduate student. I discovered that no matter how much you think you already know, there's always something new waiting to be discovered.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in special education and I have been tutoring since my sophomore year in high school. I have experience tutoring elementary, middle school, high school, and college students in a variety of subject areas.

Tutoring Approach:

The role of an educator is to consider each student as an individual and make every lesson appropriately diverse by incorporating different learning modalities. The different types of learning and intelligence should always be taken into consideration. Tutoring allows me to do this on a much more individualized and obvious level so that students have the opportunity to accomplish their academic goals.
