Personal Description:

I am a 3rd-year student at Nipissing University in the Bachelor of Business Administration program. I am also currently enrolled online for a double major programme at Athabasca University in their Bachelor of Science - Computing Information Systems and Human Sciences degree. I have come to enjoy Maths and Sciences along with having a strong appetite for business. I have travelled across Canada for work and was selected to attend Nipissing on a scholarship through my work with the Royal Canadian Air Force. I believe in helping everyone succeed regardless of skill level. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing and watching Netflix and spending time with my wife helping around the house or going on mini-dates.

Tutoring Experience:

I have had the joy of helping close friends and some family with teaching more complicated subjects. As you can see by my background, I am not a teacher by trade but have worked on helping people succeed in school for some time and have taken on responsibilities at Nipissing to assist students through their studies.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is solution-based. In our initial session, we will do an evaluation of the current skill level and determine in what areas help is needed the most. Following this session, I will create some problem sets that we will work on together followed-up with some independent work time where afterwards I will work with you to go over the solutions and point out where to improve and what was done well. The environment I like to have while tutoring is relaxed and I like to get to know those that I tutor so that when we get into the more complex topics, the sessions feel easy and comfortable.
