Tutoring Experience:
I worked as a Core French Teacher for 17 years and I taught French Immersion for 20 years. I have experience in teaching grades Kindergarten to Grade 8.
I taught a course called “Great Beginnings” offered by our Board of Education to instruct new teachers. The course focused on teaching strategies, classroom management and professionalism in the classroom. I was the course leader for the Core French section of this workshop for 10 years.
I have tutored students of all ages (Gr 1 to OAC)
Tutoring Approach:
It is important to find out how the student learns best. Is he/she an auditory, visual, kinesthetic, or verbal learner? Lessons are planned according to the individuals capabilities. It is important to build a positive relationship and connect with my students to give them a positive learning environment. I truly believe one can accomplish anything given the right mindset.
