Personal Description:

I'm a recently graduated student from the University of Alberta from the BSc in Chemical Engineering program. I like to play sports and spend time with friends and math is my favourite and strongest subject. I've also won awards in high school for highest grade 12 chemistry mark and tied with a fellow peer for highest mark in AP calculus.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutored whilst in grade 12 for the after school program for various students in math from grades 9 to 12.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is teaching the fundamentals of problem solving and really hammering the underlying principles which make solving the problems intuitive and understandable. I think one of the best ways to do this is to test the knowledge of the person prior to the learning experience and once they have gone through the material, re-quizzing to really challenge them to think about the main concepts a few more times until the student is capable and comfortable tackling even the most difficult questions.
