Personal Description:
I am currently a high school student at École Sainte-Anne in Fredericton. I love mathematics and enjoy sharing my knowledge to allow others to learn and to grow. I've even won awards for math competitions such as Opti-Math, UNB's annual math competition, and uWaterloo contests. I'm an empathetic, patient, understanding and calm person. I'm also passionate about sports such as basketball and volleyball.
Tutoring Experience:
Since 2019, I have been tutoring in math, science, and French at the middle school and high school levels. I love helping fellow students out with their studies. During this COVID-19 pandemic, if you need any help with your online courses, feel free to text me, I'd be happy to help!
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy exploring all facets of math, science and language. I simplify complex problems and find unique ways to approach challenging subjects. I understand how difficult it is to make sense of certain concepts sometimes, and I love showing students that if you break them down using new strategies or look at them differently, they're not as complicated as they may seem. I ensure my lessons are enjoyable by sharing realistic examples and analogies. In addition, although my native tongue is English, I am also fluent in French and can tutor in either language.
