Personal Description:

I am knowledgeable in many subjects, but I am the most passionate about mathematics. As a math tutor, I know that it can be a difficult subject for students to learn. However, I strive to help my students learn difficult concepts while having fun. In addition, I do my best to teach my students that having a strong educational background is key for success.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently working on earning an Associate of Arts in Pre-Engineering, working my way towards earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. I can help math students of all ages and abilities, from elementary math through trigonometry and algebra. I can break difficult math concepts down and teach them in a way that makes sense to each student.

Tutoring Approach:

I like first to see where my student stands in their current math skills. Then, I can tackle the specific concepts they are struggling to understand. Once they grasp those concepts, I let them take the lead, helping if and when they encounter an issue.
