Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Francisco and I am a math tutor. I was raised in Chile and moved abroad to attend college. I've always enjoyed math and languages in particular. I also love teaching students who have a desire to learn. Whether you're struggling with the material or you just want to become the best in your class, I can help.

Tutoring Experience:

In addition to minoring in mathematics, I've also passed the Probability Exam from the Society of Actuaries. I served as a teaching assistant for several semesters in the fields of calculus and economics. I've helped students review their weekly material, complete homework, and prepare for upcoming exams.

Tutoring Approach:

I take the time to get to know my students, including their hobbies, current level of understanding of the material, and motivation to achieve their learning goals. This informs how our sessions will be structured and the content we will begin with.
