Personal Description:

Hi, I am Faruk Ahmed . I am from Bangladesh and I completed my Bachelors in Civil Engineering from there. I have come to Montreal In January,2018 and I am an international student in Corcordia University. I am doing my Masters in Civil Engineering here. I love teaching and discussing various matters with people. I want to spend my free time with some students who want to learn in a different and joyful way.

Tutoring Experience:

As an engineering student, i am very good in Physics,Chemistry and Math. I have been teaching physics,chemistry and math since 2010. I founded a Tutors' home in my country and worked as a director and active teacher for the last 8 years (2010-2017). When I left my country I had almost 120 students whom I am guiding through online. I am also good in English. I scored a band total of 7.5(Out of 9) in IELTS(International English Language Testing System) with a perfect band score of 9 in reading. So teaching English Grammar and literature is very easy for me.

Tutoring Approach:

I follow a task based teaching approach for Physics,Chemistry and math. For example, to teach a certain topic I create a practical task or problem for the student and then I teach them the concept they need to solve the problem. Students find this teaching technique very interesting. I also give students a lot of practice problems so that the can understand the concept of a topic very well. For English grammar, I depend on practice. For English literature, I try to make student feel the story or poem or novel and inspire them to talk to me about it. I also solve their home work problems.
