Personal Description:

Hello! I'm currently an undergraduate student at Western University (in Canada). I'm completing an Honors Specialization in Nonprofit Management (a sector of the Business and Organizational Studies program) with a minor in Philosophy. I enjoy helping others excel in school and have a great passion for arts and humanities.

Upon high school graduation, I received enough college credits from dual enrollment classes to enter university as a second-year student. I received a merit scholarship from my university as recognition for my success in previous college courses, and I have been selected as a Dean's List student every year since I began at my dual-enrollment high school in Grade 10.

Tutoring Experience:

I have gained tutoring and TA experience through my synagogue's youth group program and Hebrew school, primarily assisting grade 6 and below. In my high school youth group program, I held a position on the regional board where my primary duty was to facilitate program-based learning and educate others on current events. I carried on these same duties at a summer camp job the following summer.

Tutoring Approach:

I take particular learning style into consideration when working with students. My style of tutoring consists of positive encouragement and constructive critique in problem areas for students. I work with students to come up with a plan that works just right for them, primarily based on their own strengths and needs. I will always push students to produce their best work and I am honest with them when I believe they could improve in certain areas.
