Personal Description:

My work as a computer engineer informs the work I do as a math tutor. Though I also offer tutoring in college-level essay writing and editing, most of the subjects I cover are in the field of mathematics. I work with students of all levels, from those studying basic arithmetic, to students in more advanced classes like Calculus 2, statistics, or trigonometry.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring since I was in high school. As an undergraduate I received a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Earning that degree meant taking a lot of science and math classes--which are both topics I love!

Tutoring Approach:

I think patience is the key to successful tutoring, and I believe patience is one of my strongest traits. When I am working with a student, I take as much time as is needed to ensure that they are grasping the material. My goal is to get them to the point where they aren't merely arriving at right answers, but are gaining a true understanding of the subject matter.
