Personal Description:

Hi there! My name is Erin, I am currently studying at Queen's University to get a degree in languages, literatures, and cultures. I am also getting a minor in religion, and have a great interest in studies in that area. I used to study music at a university level so I am also proficient in that subject, especially in flute, but all forms of theoretical music as well. I love meeting new people and would love to help you achieve your best in your studies, or just generally help you placate your desire to learn new things in life!

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked as a tutor to small children during my high school years. Currently, I teach children dance and yoga at an after school program, so I am well-versed with teaching and working with both elementary school children as well as adults!

Tutoring Approach:

I think the best approach to learning anything new is to find something about a subject that really interests the student! I know firsthand that it's never fun to feel the frustration of having to simply memorize information that does not seem valuable to your life, so I like to get to know the student and their interests in order to determine the best way for you or your child to learn.
