Personal Description:

I love teaching and enjoy teaching myself new skills and concepts. I am a Japanese tutor who believes that everyone has the ability to learn anything they want. I believe that my job as a tutor is to figure out how to work with each individual to maximize efficiency and boost their confidence.

Tutoring Experience:

I studied biology with a minor in East Asian Studies, with a concentration in the Japanese language and culture, graduating with my bachelor's degree. I have traveled all over the world, studying in Tokyo and living in Switzerland and Costa Rica. I am deeply passionate about the Japanese language and sharing it with others. I am available to help students at all levels of their Japanese studies.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in keeping my students motivated by giving them positive reinforcement. Student's often become discouraged and unmotivated because humans, in general, do not like doing things that they think they are bad at.
