Personal Description:

Hi! My name is Eric, I am currently going into my second year at Western University studying medical science. I graduated from Bayview Secondary School in 2020, and was also a part of the International Baccalaureate program. My hobbies include spending quality time with friends, watching the Raptors, and learning new things.

Tutoring Experience:

I've worked as a swimming instructor for 3 years, and have worked with people of all ages helping them to develop the necessary skills needed to become comfortable with the pool, as well as introducing students to emergency CPR. In high school, I trained students in medical terminology for the club HOSA, and planned multiple lessons for them to build their understanding of medical terms.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that it is extremely important to build lessons around the skills of the student, as different students will have different strengths and weaknesses, and it is necessary to understand these in order to help the student reach their full potential. One of my teaching philosophies revolves around having the student understand things conceptually and having them be able to apply these concepts on their own.
