Personal Description:

I have a strong background in math, so that is naturally where I do a lot of my teaching. I am a math tutor, teaching subjects such as elementary math and middle school math and I can help students who want to prepare for standardized tests as well. For me, tutoring is really about just finding out what works and recognizing that every individual is unique with different educational needs.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a BA and a master's degree. In terms of tutoring, that is something that I have been doing since I was in secondary school. I try to be patient with my students and take the time to explain things to them carefully.

Tutoring Approach:

As far as my tutoring philosophy, I like to figure out what my student's goals are and then I ask myself what I can do to help them achieve those goals. I try to be as positive and upbeat as I can, because I know that attitude goes a long way and motivating your students is just as important as telling them when they got something right or when they got something wrong.
