Personal Description:

I am Currently at Douglas College working on getting my teaching certificate. I love working with kids and making learning fun and engaging for them. I am 20 years old and have done lots of volunteering with kindergarteners and kids K-5.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been volunteering in a kindergarten class for 2 years. In these two years of volunteering I have been able to help kids meet and exceed the expectations that kindergarten requires of them. I have also done volunteering with my church and the children's ministry. I have done a couple other tutoring jobs of varying ages however really enjoy being with the younger ages!

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring will involve an engaging form of learning that will exceed beyond just pen and paper, but will help kids have fun while learning. This will look like learning through games, reading, pictures, card games, writing, and hands on activities.
