Personal Description:

My SAT and PSAT prep students have consistently improved their scores by 150 to 200 points. I am hugely proud of this accomplishment and of the students I have helped as an English tutor. I am also available to tutor students in English as a Second Language. I'm a good tutor mainly because I love teaching and am committed to education.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Modern Languages. I went on from there to earn my master's degree in Law, where I also earned my JD. I have more than 10 years helping students prepare for the Reading, Writing, and Language sections of the SAT and PSAT.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel that I, as the English tutor, should help my student to feel recognized, appreciated, and understood. It's also important for me to be able to gauge each student's current abilities so I can challenge them without overwhelming them. Because I sincerely care for my students and their success, tutoring them is a joy for both of us.
