Personal Description:

My passion for mathematics and other STEM subjects began in high school where I was lucky enough to take a variety of AP and advanced courses at a magnet institution. That experience allows me to tutor courses such as IB Mathematics HL, College Algebra, and AP Calculus AB. I believe that anybody can learn math if they are willing to put the effort in even if it doesn't come naturally to them.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently pursuing a BA in Physics with a minor in Mathematics and hope to become a math teacher after graduation. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, so I understand how to help students pursue their goals.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to start with simple problems that introduce concepts before moving on to tougher questions illustrating what that concept can do. Every math tutor has been asked, "but when am I going to use this?" and I always try to have an answer ready to go.
