Personal Description:

Hello!

I am here to help students improve their literacy skills! I've had a passion for writing ever since I learned how. My main interest was prose, but over the years it has switched to poetry!
Aside from reading and writing, I'm passionate about/interested in: music, coffee, the outdoors, psychology, philosophy, social justice, and more! :)

Tutoring Experience:

Despite being 19 and new to tutoring formally, I worked as a reporter for a year while completing high school and starting my University career. I am currently taking a gap year in my studies as I pursue a BA in Psych and eventually, a doctorate.
I've had a passion for reading and writing ever since I learned how to. In previous years, I've helped my peers and those in grades above me improve their English grades by up to 20% (although I obviously do not intend to tutor those in higher-level English courses I have not completed).
I'm looking forward to tutoring English and writing in an approachable and productive way. I am very patient and kind. I know and remember what your classes look like and feel like, and I hope to help you through it and equip you with writing tools to help you in the future!

My lessons are written around you! Since literacy is a broad and creative subject, and everyone needs to improve their literacy skills in different areas, I would like to focus on what your specific weak points are so that my lessons are productive and successful in improving your literacy skills.
