Personal Description:

Private tutoring is interesting and engaging. I prefer to guide my students towards true understanding, rather than rote memorization. As an English tutor, I enjoy seeing my pupils make improvements in their mastery of the topics they find challenging. I can incorporate interesting books or visual cues as students practice writing narratives or prepare for exams in class.

Tutoring Experience:

In 2013, I graduated from high school, where I took five AP courses and kickstarted my college degree with 12 credits. Following graduation, I began tutoring elementary and college-level students in a variety of subjects. I am pursuing a degree in Biochemistry and work as a Supplemental Instructor in Organic Chemistry and Psychology courses.

Tutoring Approach:

During the first session, I take the time to measure my student's abilities in the subject to identify the areas in which they could use the most guidance. I take a hands-off approach to allow students to lead the session as they review for English tests or solve homework problems.
