Personal Description:

I firmly believe that students should not be passive in their own learning. I encourage my students to take an active role in their education. All students are capable of learning and enjoying math, and as a math tutor, I aim to bring that out in each of my students. Whether I am helping my students through complex algebraic expressions or basic math like addition and subtraction, I offer encouragement and help them discover the answers.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with my bachelor's in math. After that, I earned my master's degree in math education. While earning my degrees, I studied many areas of math, including statistics, complex variables, intermediate calculus, and more. As a result, I can help students of all ages in everything from multiplication to trigonometry.

Tutoring Approach:

During tutoring sessions, I apply my experience and knowledge to help my students deepen their understanding of math concepts. First, I take time to get to know my students and where their frustrations are. Then, I develop a plan to help them work through those areas using different analogies and methods.
