Personal Description:

Hi! My name is Derek and I am a certified Canadian English teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years.
When I'm not teaching, I'm usually quite active and love playing badminton, tennis or any racket sport.
In the summertime, my life revolves around the beach and beach volleyball. I also love to travel and experience new cultures.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching and tutoring for 10 years. I also have an undergraduate degree in Finance from The University of British Columbia, so I tutor students in math and business.

I have taught English to all ages in various countries around the world including South Korea, Thailand and Brazil. I am trained to help you learn English as a second language and I can improve your spoken and written English.
