Personal Description:

Genuinely passionate about learning and helping others, I am a biology tutor who can help you in your class topics, homework, or help study for a test. I leverage communication and patience to teach productively and am careful not to discourage the students I work with. My roles as a peer advisor, tutor for a post-baccalaureate program, and student leader have given me valuable skills and confidence.

Tutoring Experience:

I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. I also have a Master of Science in Medical Health Sciences. Throughout my academic career, I've taken on roles to help my fellow classmates. And in college, I worked as a tutor and pre-medical advisor helping students with schoolwork, time management, and organization.

Tutoring Approach:

When working with each student, I strive to build productive interactions and find a comfortable pace for each lesson. I encourage each individual to develop their own learning skills. When the going gets tough, I go back to the basics to find where the student is struggling and focus on building a better foundation.
