Personal Description:

Hi,
My name is David and have completed the schooling system in Ontario. I am currently a professional engineer.
My experience in the sciences and maths is what my strengths are.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a daughter who is in the high school system. I have help her extensively over the last few years (pandemic) achieve her goals in math. Her math score and sciences during grade 9 put her on the honour roll along with other high achievers.
I have taught many technical courses to adults and now to children in the public system.

Tutoring Approach:

My Approach is three fold in math:
1) Understand the question: The first goal is the read and understand what is being asked and what information is provided to you. Understanding give you confidence to approach.
2) Approach: There are many approaches to answering questions. All will get you there, but some are better than others. Save time approach the question with time savings in mind.
3) Do the work: Math work is like cleaning your room each day. It has to be neat and clear.

I help my client understand the basics. Getting to know my clients I will determine by working with you what areas are pertinent for you to focus on.
