Personal Description:

In my mind, the key to acting as an effective math tutor is listening to your pupil and truly understanding their needs. I primarily tutor juniors and seniors in high school in subjects such as math, SAT prep, and ACT prep, always encouraging my students to ask questions whenever they don't understand something. I also maintain a positive attitude to help students feel more comfortable during meetings.

Tutoring Experience:

I'm a certified teacher who is currently teaching Physics to students in grades 11 and 12, so I understand how to help students pursue their learning goals. I have also tutored student athletes at the university level, so I'm familiar with 1-on-1 teaching environments.

Tutoring Approach:

Regurgitating information does not make you a good student if you can't apply it in a variety of contexts. I try to share my passion for the material with every student I work with, inspiring them to learn without worrying about tests or grades.
