Personal Description:

I like to tutor my students using a variety of methods. It's important for an English tutor to target their teaching techniques to the student's preferred learning styles. I'm patient with my student and understanding of the struggles they face. Helping youth is extremely important to me and I plan to do so as much as possible.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I went on to earn my master's degree in Education. I have experience as a mentor, teacher, and English tutor. I can help students write their college essays and study for subjects like College English, English grammar and syntax, reading, writing, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in tutoring children based on the way they learn because every student learns in their own way. When I first meet with my students, I like to get to know their strengths and what is challenging them. I like to gradually allow them to take control of the lessons so they can become an independent learner.
