Personal Description:
Hello students,
My name is D’Arcy and I’m hoping to be your tutor. I am currently finishing my last month of medical school and have a 3-4 months before I start working as a Doctor. I have an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, masters degree in chemical engineering and will have my medical degree in weeks to come! I am from Windsor, Ontario, Canada and attended medical school at Kansas City University. I am a former NCAA athlete where I played soccer in West Virginia.
Tutoring Experience:
I have tutored all throughout my undergraduate, masters and medical degrees (highest level teaching medical students). My mother is a grade school teacher, attesting to this I have tutored numerous grade school students and have a vast amount of resources at my finger tips. In high school, I tutored my fellow students in all the sciences as I was part of an enriched student program.
Tutoring Approach:
Based on my vast amount of teaching experience, I realize everyone learns differently. Some are visual learners, others auditory and some like silly acronyms to learn. I am open to which ever learning style is best for my students.
