Personal Description:

My objective as an educator is to foster critical thinking skills, help students develop problem-solving strategies they can apply in a variety of contexts, and teach concepts that will help them both now and in the future. My greatest strength as a tutor is my ability to listen to my student's needs and help them understand what they truly need help with, allowing us both to take corrective action.

Tutoring Experience:

I have both a bachelor's and a master's in Business Administration. That may seem like a strange fit for an English tutor, but people underestimate how important communication skills are in the business world. I also have 1-on-1 tutoring experience in a variety of subjects including English as a Second Language (ESL).

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the most important learning takes place in realistic scenarios, so I always try to present material the same way it would come up in real life.
