Personal Description:

I believe that education is a great equalizer and a valuable empowerment tool. As a physics tutor, I would like to apply all of my expertise on overcoming the psychological and social barriers to learning with all of my students. I can assist interested students with physics tutoring on a range of subjects from middle school science content to SAT and other test prep.

Tutoring Experience:

I completed a bachelor's degree specializing in Psychology. My tutoring experience includes working with community college students in math and science, and have also tutored chemistry to students taking summer courses. I am well-equipped to assist students at various levels of study with the academic support they need for physics.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to flip the classroom and challenge my students to try and "teach" me the concepts they have a hard time with or take me step-by-step through a problem they are struggling with. This usually makes it clear if they are making any conceptual mistakes or incorrect assumptions.
