Personal Description:

I am passionate about the French language and I am a very patient and innovative French tutor. I decided to major in French during my first year at university and believe one of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect academic topics to the real world outside of the classroom.

Tutoring Experience:

I first began studying French when I was eleven. I traveled abroad as an undergraduate student and lived in France for a while. I believe this was instrumental in improving my linguistic skills as it generated a greater sense of confidence in my ability to speak the language in informal settings outside of the classroom. I earned my undergraduate degree in French.

Tutoring Approach:

If a student doesn't understand a word, how to properly compose a sentence, or any other facet of the language I will come up with an exercise or way to explain it that will leverage the student's learning style.
