Personal Description:

I am a bio-medical sciences student and varsity athlete in my final semester of my undergraduate degree. I recently completed an advanced study program in human anatomy where I dissected cadavers, facilitated the learning of 3rd year undergraduate students, and led community outreach sessions directed at gaining interest and enthusiasm regarding the study of anatomical sciences. I have always loved learning and believe knowledge is meant to be shared. I have had the opportunity to apply my knowledge while working as an emergency medical responder and supervisor for the last 4 years. I have had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of patient populations during mass-gathering while on night and day shifts.

Tutoring Approach:

As a tutor I recognize that everyone learns in their own way, and it is important for me to be an empathetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual, who is fully committed to the success of my students. Tutoring is not a "one-size-fits-all", but rather it is a journey that is centered around clients reaching their educational goals in a positive and timely manner. A tutor should serve as a non-judgemental mentor who encourages students to try their best and continually seek improvement while celebrating academic victories. As a tutor I would always remain respectful, patient, and kind, and would encourage my students to give me feedback on what works for them, and what they would like to see altered during our sessions.
