Personal Description:

I have taught English at a public high school in West Vancouver for 23 years. I have taught junior English, senior English, ELL and Advanced Placement Language and Literature courses. I have also taught AP Seminar and Research--so university level academic writing. I'm quite confident that I can help you to solve your most frustrating English language and essay questions. I can also help you think up some uniquely brilliant university admission essays.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature at UBC. This was followed by a Bachelor of Education Degree (English focus) and then a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, again, both at UBC.

I have taught in a public high school for 23 years at all grade levels. I help students who are really struggling with the basics of English (grammar, punctuation, essay organization) to those who are trying to polish their writing style.
