Personal Description:

My experience as a math tutor covers everything from elementary math to Algebra II. I am a great tutor because I'm excited to help students make the most of educational opportunities that others may not have access to. I can use method books if my student wants to get ahead of the game, but I'm also comfortable tackling assignments as they come if you just want to survive the school year! I cannot wait to help you pursue your goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I am working toward a master's degree in Biochemistry through an Accelerated BS/MS Program.

Tutoring Approach:

I encourage my students to try and learn something new every day whether it's math-related or not. I also try to use positive reinforcement to encourage students, whether that means assigning less homework as a reward or providing sweet treats to enjoy while they're working. I try to let students work independently as much as possible, stepping in only when needed.
