Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Charlotte, and I am originally from Vancouver, BC. I am currently working in Sponsorship Marketing, but have also worked in Private Wealth Management, Global Product Marketing, Digital and Affiliate Marketing, and Social Media Marketing. I am passionate about psychology and have been since high school. If you are taking AP Psychology, I can help! I finished top of my class winning the AP Psychology book award during my final year of high school. I also finished top of my degree at the University of San Diego. Having completed a Bachelors in Business Administration, I have a base across all areas of the business world, with a focus in marketing and advertising.

Tutoring Experience:

I have not only tutored others, but I also used tutoring services in high school and have seen how beneficial they are to learning and excelling. Throughout high school, I tutored many of the kids who I provided child care for (in basic classes like math, science, and english). I also have a little brother and always enjoyed helping him with his studies while we were growing up. In university, I frequently created study packages and practice tests to lead my friends/classmates through, and took time to explain concepts to them when they didn't understand them - it takes team work to help others learn, and that is what I am all about! As an adult, I did a career swap from Finance back to Marketing, and trained my replacement for two months before departing from my previous company.

Tutoring Approach:

Everyone has different learning styles, so I always take this into consideration. If one approach doesn't seem to click, then we tackle if from another angle, until we find something that suits the individual. I believe in hard work and effort, so as long as whomever I am tutoring shows they are trying, I have all the patience in the world to get them to where they want to be. Helping others and seeing them success bring me so much fulfillment and at the end of the day, I want you to do your best and feel proud of yourself!
