Personal Description:

I'm a physics tutor who can help with homework and test prep as well as in long-term remedial education. For several years, I have been teaching and helping others achieve success in their subjects. Whether you need help in physics topics or underlying math concepts in algebra, geometry, or calculus, I can help.

Tutoring Experience:

As a student, I am currently working on my undergraduate degree in physics. I have assisted my siblings with schoolwork and most of the students I have worked with increased their grade by at least one letter. Some have become tutors as well!

Tutoring Approach:

I always acknowledge when a student does something well. I'm also great at communicating concepts in different ways and pinpointing a student's learning style to cater to their needs. During tutoring sessions, I work through examples to see how a student does and give them the opportunity to ask questions. I also examine how they go about problem solving and often use made-up games and puzzles to help with learning.
