Personal Description:

I am able to help high school and college students with a range of biology skills and concepts. My experience as a professional educator gives me plenty of teaching methods that I can incorporate into my work as a biology tutor. During one-on-one sessions as a biology tutor, I am able to focus on the material that is most relevant to the student's goals while using teaching methods that fit their learning style.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in Biological Science and I also have a master's degree in Education. I spent 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry, and I also have 11 years of experience teaching high school biology.

Tutoring Approach:

I lay a strong foundation by working to make sure that students understand the basic principles that apply to all scientific disciplines. Understanding what a student wants to accomplish allows me to provide instruction that is suited to their situation.
