Information About Callum
Vancouver tutorPersonal Description:
Hi! I'm a Math and Economics Honors student, able to tutor from middle school up to first-year calculus. Offering personalized lesson plans, looking forward to meeting you!
In third grade, I was diagnosed with dyslexia and other learning differences, and I struggled for years in traditional classrooms. It wasn’t until I worked with kind and patient tutors that I began to thrive academically.
Inspired by their impact, I started tutoring students in my community, especially those facing similar challenges. Over the past three years, I’ve continued this work with a focus on making support accessible and affordable.
Today, I’m an Honors student at the University of Portland, studying on an academic scholarship. I’m passionate about helping others succeed through encouragement, clarity, and tailored lesson plans that suit each student’s individual needs.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 2 years experience working with students from a variety of backgrounds, helping them to craft learning strategies and lesson plans that uniquely address their needs.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching approach is centered on identifying the learning style that works best for each student and adapting lesson plans to meet their individual needs.
I have experience working with neurodivergent students and understand that no single method guarantees success for everyone. I strive to offer flexible, personalized instruction that supports each student’s unique learning process.
I tutor math for students in grades 5–12, as well as first-year university calculus. Offering services in SAT math, high school and college algebra, Math 151-152 (or equivalents), high school statistics and logic.
