Personal Description:

I have developed a "whole" approach that sets my teaching style apart from the crowd. I'm an English tutor who is passionate about literature. I use an artistic approach to tutor my students, which leads to their having fun and remaining engaged during our lessons. I also think enrichment education is important.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Theater. When I was at university and after, I worked with children in the theater and then moved to teach fifth-grade students. I am available to tutor students of all ages in a variety of English topics including reading and writing. I can also help students prepare for the Reading and Writing sections of the ACT.

Tutoring Approach:

When I work with students, I listen to them so I can learn what their interests are. I think they learn best when they are engaged because I relate the subjects I'm tutoring to their interests. I am able to support students in a one-on-one manner through tutoring and am always willing to go the extra mile to help my students.
