Personal Description:
I am a fourth-year teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in Social Studies. I have experience teaching a wide variety of subjects, with mastery in English and Social Sciences. I have experience in coaching volleyball and track & field.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught grades 6-12 for the past four years, with experience teaching students with physical and mental disabilities, a wide range of learning disabilities, and in multi-grade classrooms.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to get to know students, their strengths and needs, and then create a plan to help them find success. I like to have input from the student and their guardians to best support the child's learning. I believe that positive relationships and rapport between teachers and students are essential for student success.
